Sales Policy

Classical Pearls sells exclusively to licensed healthcare professionals for resale to their patients and clients, and to students of accredited medical institutions for personal use only. Practitioners with licenses in the following professions (or students of these professions) meet our qualifications:

  • Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine
  • Naturopath
  • Medical Doctor
  • Dentist
  • Chiropractor
  • Veterinarian
  • Osteopath
  • Nurse Practitioner
  • Homeopath
  • Psychiatrist
  • Physician's Assistant

Practitioners in a field not listed above may still be able to qualify for a student level account if they have completed course work in Chinese Herbal training. Please contact us with details as we will consider these on a case by case basis.

No exceptions will be made to this policy. We must verify your credentials as a provider or student before we will fill your order. Keep in mind that your account might be active, but not necessarily approved for purchasing. If you are logged into the site and you do not have the ability to order products, please give us a call or send us an email so we can verify we have received your credentials.

For professionals, we require a scanned or faxed copy of your medical license to verify your credentials. For students, we require a scanned or faxed copy of your student enrollment card, ID, or diploma. After you have registered for an account, please fax or email your license or student enrollment credentials as an attachment. For California acupuncturists, and any other professionals prohibited from copying their license by state regulations, you can send us a copy of your driver's license or other valid ID. This allows us to verify your identity as well as your license online.

Ordering and Payments

Orders can be placed directly on our website, with the ability to ship to multiple recipients. This drop shipment feature can be handy for practitioners with patients who cannot travel easily, which generally can improve patient compliance. We accept all forms of credit and debit cards, and use the latest encryption protocols on our secure shopping cart - so your information is safe with us. We do not store your payment in our system or at our office. Only you have access to your payment information on our securely hosted shopping cart.

You can call us to place your order in person. We staff our office Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm (US Pacific Time). If you reach our voice mail, it means we are helping other customers. We will return your call as soon as possible, usually in the same business day.

If you'd prefer, you can order via fax or email attachment by downloading our order form. All prices are reflected on the website and in the order form. There is a space for your payment information on the order form. We shred all order forms after they are fulfilled. We do not store payment information in our office and do not have access to it.

We ship orders Monday through Friday. If your order is received in our office before 1pm (US Pacific Time), it will usually ship that day.

We offer free shipping on all orders over $250 on all orders shipped within the United States. We offer a 10% discount and free shipping on orders over $1000. Orders up to 25 bottles total will ship USPS Priority Mail (even those which qualify for free shipping). Orders over 25 bottles will ship via UPS Ground.

Please note:  If your order is over $250, the shipping charge will disappear on your order once you enter your shipping and billing address in the checkout process!

We are currently working to create a more advanced shipping interface on this website to allow you to choose various shipping methods (including expedited services).



Due to Food and Drug Administration regulations we can accept returns only on goods that are received in your office in damaged condition or shipped to you in error. If your package arrives in damaged condition, please call us immediately and preserve the packaging materials, as a UPS representative may need to inspect the package.

Please call for a return authorization before shipping goods back to us. Once you have received your return authorization from our office, you can mail the merchandise with a copy of the original invoice to:


When the authorized returns arrive in our office, a credit will be applied to your account.



Please note that herb prices are occasionally subject to dramatic shifts due to market and climate conditions. This is especially true for the organic and wild-crafted specialty materials that Classical Pearls strives to utilize whenever possible. Classical Pearls therefore reserves the right to adjust its pricing as needed.


Volume Discounts

A 10% volume discount plus free shipping is available for orders totaling over $1,000. Free shipping is only available on domestic orders.
